• Pick your Battles:Focus on major structural issues not cosmetic
  
• Know the Required Repairs: Make sure you know the items that sellers are legally required to fix. Such and water; mold; and safety violations
  
• Back your request with research: It is harder to get the results you want without all the right information.
  
• Ask for a Repair credit: Sometimes it is easier for you to coordinate your own repairs rather than have the seller. this can actually work in your favor. The seller will most likely find the cheapest contractor to fix your problem. But this way you can choose the contractor that you want.
